Vault Breaker jackpot awarded in Willow Bunch
Willow Bunch, SK – The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) is pleased to announce a Vault Breaker jackpot prize awarded by the Saskatchewan VLT program. Willow Bunch resident Cameron Marit won a whopping $785,517.25 after hitting the grand jackpot on Vault Breaker while visiting Jolly Giant Pub on September 15.
“At first, I was in shock,” Marit recalled as he claimed his prize. “I was waiting for takeout and thought I would throw a few bucks into the machine while I wait.”
Marit’s decision to play while killing time won him $785,517.25 when all Vault Breaker symbols fell, netting him the jackpot.
The happy winner has a few plans for his windfall -- first and foremost is to start taking it easy.
“I’m going to retire after 37 years at my job,” he noted. “I’m going to do some work on my backyard and maybe build a garage.”
“Maybe do some traveling; I haven’t been to the east coast or Hawaii,” he added.
Vault Breaker is a wide-area progressive that links 4,200 VLTs located in approximately 570 sites in 270 communities across the province. There are three mystery jackpot tiers: the province-wide grand jackpot has a minimum value of $500,000 and pays out before it hits $1.5 million, the major regional jackpot has a minimum value of $5,000 and pays out before it hits $25,000, and the local site jackpot minimum is $100 and pays out before hitting $500. Any of the three jackpot tiers can be awarded when a patron plays Vault Breaker.
The province-wide jackpot has awarded $24,124,461.89 to 26 winners since June 2017. Vault Breaker’s province-wide grand jackpot has now been reset to $500,000.
